Franco Fasano, the new album is “I want to sing them like that”

Franco Fasano’s new album, published by Incipit Records and distributed by Egea Music, is in the digital stores and on digital stores.

In the album “I want to sing them like this” the musician and singer Ligurian returns to the market by regaining, in a certain sense, of some of his songs brought to success by great voices in the history of Italian music with which he collaborated.

Franco Fasano has in fact signed songs such as “I love”, sung by Fausto Leali (4th place in Sanremo 1987, 400,000 copies sold and 2 platinum records), “I will leave you”, with whom Anna Oxa and Fausto Leali won Sanremo 1989, “I miss me”, still for Leali (5th place in Sanremo 1988), “give me a smile” Zecchino d’oro as “drop after drop” and “the katalicicammello” and cartoon acronyms as “small heart problems” and “Rossana”.

The arrangements of the disc were curated by Massimo Tagliata; Among the musicians who played on the album there are Lele Veronesi (drums), Enrico Lazzarini (double bass) and Sandro Comini to the trombones.

This year I celebrate 50 years of music on stage. I was 14 when with my first band (the beautiful age) I started playing in the best clubs of the Ponente Ligure. Despite my long experience with music inside I still feel like a teenager with many things to learn.

Some of my songs have marked not only the success of those who played them at the time but also my story. Now, ‘in singing them, the exciting, new findings, as if I had already thought about them with this type of arrangement which, thanks to the enthusiasm of Massimo Tagliata and all the other musicians continue to make them live in this new season of my artistic life.
