Fontaines DC, three dates in Italy in 2025 for the new rock heroes
After the sold out show last June at the Cavea del Parco della Musica in Rome and the show scheduled for November 4th at the Alcatraz in Milan, Fontaines DC are (already) preparing to return to Italy. The Irish rock band that brought new life to the genre, fresh from the release of the brand new album “Romance” (here is our review), has announced three concerts in Italy for the summer of 2025, during which they will return to make the fans of our country go wild.
Fontaines DC will play on June 17th in Bologna on the stage of the Sequoie Music Park at Parco della Caserme Rosse (tickets on sale at 46 euros plus presale fees and any additional fees for the pit and at 42 euros for the parterre), on June 18th in the Capital on the stage of Rock in Roma at the Ippodromo delle Capannelle (tickets at 42 euros for a single standing place) and on June 19th at the Carroponte in Milan (tickets at 42 euros for a single standing place).
Tickets will be available from 10am on Wednesday 4th September on Ticketmaster and Ticketone.
“I have loved Italy since we first came here.
I remember a wonderful concert at the Teatro Regio in Parma, people were sitting, it was the pandemic period. There is a particular energy in your country, similar to that, for example, that I felt in Mexico. You can feel that, for those who come to see us in Italy, the concert and the music are the most important aspects, that’s why there is such a strong warmth. We are really lucky to be able to tour the world and to be able to play everywhere, seeing the various reactions of the audience, from the craziest to the most romantic. And in Italy there is so much romanticism”, Carlos O’Connell, guitarist of Fontaines DC, told in an interview with Rockol, a few days ago.
