Farewell to producer Fausto Cogliati
Fausto Cogliati passed away today, Tuesday 14 January, at the age of 66.
Music producer, musician and vocal coach, among the key names in Italian music, during his career he had worked with Eros Ramazzotti, J-Ax and many others. The sad news of his passing came from Ramazzotti himself: the singer shared words of pain on social media for the loss of his colleague and friend, whose causes of death are not yet known at the moment. “Hello my brother, you didn’t even give me time to say goodbye. I love you forever”, wrote the voice of “An emotion forever” in a comment left under the last post published on his Instagram profile by Fausto Cogliati, to which are added the greetings of many others, including Rovazzi and GionnyScandal.
Furthermore, Eros Ramazzotti, as also done by Ultimo, Federico Rossi of the duo Benji e Fede, Clementino and Dj Jad of Articolo 31 – among others – shared a photo of the producer as a story on his personal profile.
After an experience as guitarist of the group Lijao, Fausto Cogliati then established himself in the Italian music scene as a producer. After having created music for fashion shows for designers of the caliber of Giorgio Armani and having taken his first steps in the world of advertising, Cogliati then worked with artists such as – among others – Articolo 31, Eros Ramazzotti, Raphael Gualazzi, Rocco Hunt, Francesca Michielin , Fedez, Club Dogo, Elodie, Ultimo and Matteo Bocelli.
