Farewell to Massimo Frizzi

Farewell to Massimo Frizzi

By a strange coincidence, Rockol had written about it a few days ago, on August 29, reviewing a book dedicated to the history of the trio Frizzi-Comini-Tonazzi.
One of the group’s members, Massimo Frizzi (first from the left, in the photo), died in Udine on September 4th (the funeral was held yesterday). He had been ill for some time and his condition had been worsening for a year. A high school teacher and a musician by passion, he had started making music during university, first with Sandro Comini and then also with Enrico Tonazzi. The trio’s debut dates back to 1975, with the audio cassette “Le craccole”. Their latest work is from 2022, “Sinfonia numero 3”.
