With the publication of the order of performance by the competitors of the two semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest of Basel 2025 the singing event – which will be held in the Swiss city from 13 to 17 May – has taken a further step forward.
As reported by the Ansa, the artists have meanwhile started to populate the pre-parties that take place in some European capitals, from Amsterdam to London, from Copenhagen to Madrid. Just in the Spanish capital, on April 19, Lucio Corsi will perform, the representative in the race for Italy.
Since last year, the representatives of the Big 5 – Italy, France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom – together with the host country, this year Switzerland have acquired the opportunity to perform live – out of competition, being already qualified – already during the semifinals. Lucio Corsi will propose his “I wanted to be a tough” in the first semifinal, that of 13 May. Gabry Ponte will be competing in the same semifinal, under the colors of the Republic of San Marino, with “all of Italy”.
The exhibition order of the final on Saturday 17 May will be made known on the night between Thursday 15 and Friday 16 May. The two semifinals will be broadcast on Tuesday 13 and Thursday 15 May in the early evening on Rai 2 and Rai Play as well as being broadcast on Rai Radio 2 and on the 202 digital terrestrial channel. The final, on the other hand, will be broadcast on Saturday 17 May, always in the early evening, on Rai 1 as well as on Rai Play and Rai Radio 2.
