Elodie becomes an ambassador for Save the Children

Elodieone of the best known and most prominent artists in the current panorama of Italian music, on the occasion of the launch of the “Take care” project, to combat educational poverty in the Quartaccio district of Rome, becomes Save the Children ambassador.

I decided to get involved with Save the Children because I was a child myself and I know what was missing in my childhood. I believe that every adult should work to ensure that the future of all children is dignified and represents the realization of all their potential and desires

So declared Elodie, who met a group of pupils from the primary school of the “Andersen” complex of the Pio La Torre comprehensive school, in the Quartaccio district of Rome, some of whom will be protagonists of the project “To take care of”.

The project “To take care of”, Save the Children explain: provides for the activation of a series of personalized support paths to promote the well-being and access to inclusive education of girls, boys and adolescents living in conditions of socioeconomic vulnerability supporting their passions, aspirations and talents.”

Elodie began supporting Save the Children projects in March 2022, when the singer decided to promote support initiatives for Ukrainian girls and boys involved in the war.

We are very happy and proud that Elodie has chosen to become part of our family and to share our commitment” he says Claudio Tesauropresident of Save the Children, the organization that has been fighting for over 100 years to save girls and boys at risk and guarantee them a future. “In Italy – adds the president of the NGO – 1.3 million children live in absolute poverty; many of them in urban suburbs, often without spaces and opportunities that can stimulate their growth. It is essential to work to ensure that all girls and boys, regardless of the context in which they live and their starting conditions, have the opportunity to develop their talents and aspirations and to have confidence in their abilities. We are certain that Elodie will make a significant contribution to this daily commitment.”
