Eddie Murphy will play George Clinton in a biopic about his life

It seems that the well-known actor Eddie Murphy signed on to play the part of George Clinton in a biopic about the 83-year-old leader of Parliament And Funkadelic. This is what Variety magazine reported. The film does not yet have a title and is based on a writing by Virgil Williamsfrom an original draft by Max Werner itself based on Clinton’s autobiography ‘Brothas Be, Yo Like George, Ain’t That Funkin’ Kinda Hard On You?’ published in 2014.

The director will be Bill Condonwho previously directed Murphy in

‘Dreamgirls’ in 2006 where he received an Oscar nomination for best supporting actor. Eddie Murphy is the producer of the film, while George Clinton is involved as an executive producer.
