Ed Sheeran Admits: “If I Wasn’t a Musician, I’d Be a Virgin”

The video went viral in a matter of hours. But it’s not a “stolen” interview, a snippet of a chat or a clip made by some fan. It’s Ed Sheeran himself who produced and published on his channels a highly self-deprecating video that has surpassed 20 million views. The clip shows him sitting on the floor of a giant stadium, where he is currently in the middle of his European “Mathematics” tour. There, he turned to the camera and confessed: “If I wasn’t a musician, I’d be a virgin.” The camera then focused on a huge LED screen in the stadium, revealing that Sheeran was playing Pokémon Stadium. A publicity stunt? A video made just for fun? Judging by the numbers, in any case, the mission is accomplished: to get people talking. Sheeran recently confirmed that he sold 600,000 tickets in 60 minutes for his “Mathematics” tour. For this reason, he has added a series of new dates for his current tour.
