Dori Ghezzi turns 80 today: she was born on March 30, 1946. The recording activity that the artist began at the age of twenty is divided into three phases: the first phase, as a soloist; the second, in a vocal duo with Wess of the Airedales; the third again as a soloist.

She had no shortage of sales successes, and perhaps it was a shame that due to vocal problems she gave up singing at the end of the nineties (if we exclude her participation as a backing vocalist on her husband Fabrizio De André’s albums and concerts).
