Discogs: the three records sold at the most dear price in 2025 (so far)
You know Discogs, right? Scogs is an online website and database that also acts as a marketplace, through which it is possible to buy and sell private to private discs. Discogs made the ranking of the records that passed by hand at the most dear price in the first six months of the year. Here is the podium, the “top 3”.
1 – sold for $ 15,000
“Vengeance”/”in This Town”, 45 rpm
The Fix (1981)
The milestone of the first American hardcore, the 45 laps was printed in only 200 copies, and is the debut single of the bands as well as the second album published by the Touch and Go label. Of the initial edition, moreover, some copies (15) were damaged, which makes even more rare to find one in good condition. This – classified as “Near Mint”, that is, almost in perfect condition – was sold for $ 15,000 (in 2023 another copy in less intact conditions was sold for $ 12,995).
2 – Sold at 13,513 dollars
