De Gregori: all about the reprint of “rimmel” for the 50th anniversary
On September 19, on the occasion of the celebrations of the fiftieth anniversary of the publication (which was actually falling in January), The re -edition of “Rimmel “, The fourth studio album by Francesco De Gregori, who became a milestone of the Italian songwriter.
The reprint will not include unpublished songs, outttakes or rarity, but the same songs as the original edition of 1975. The re -edition, published by Sony Music, will be available in the following versions, all already pre -ordered on the official Sony Music store: LP 180gr Clear e LP 180gr Black, both at 192khz (for those who were not audiophile: it is one of the best possible definitions), CD, CD + 45 rpm black, CD + 45 rpm Picture Disc e musicsest. The 45 laps follows the original version of 1975 with the songs “Rimmel” and “Little Mela”. For the first time there will be the texts of the songs in the LP version, an opportunity to deepen a classic of Italian music.
The reprint of “rimmel” promises to be as a renewed sound journey, which enhances every nuance of the original album released in 1975 which marked entire generations with unforgettable songs such as “Pablo”, “Goodnight Fiorellino” and the same “Rimmel”.
And on the occasion of the celebrations of the fiftieth anniversary of the masterpiece, the prince Porta “Rimmel” also on the stages with a tour, simply entitled “Rimmel 2025”, in which the 1975 album is re -proposed live in full together with the band composed of Guido Guglielminetti (bass and contrabasso), Carlo Gaudiello (piano), Primiano di Biase (Hammond, keyboards and accordion), Paolo Giovenchi (guitars), Alessandro Valle (guitar, pedal steel and mandolin) and Simone Talone (drums and percussion) and from the choristers Francesca La Colla and Cristina Greco.

The “Rimmel 2025” tour will resume on 31 October with a series of concerts in Italian theaters, scheduled between October and November, and then continued in the Palasport of Milan and Rome in December. To close this musical journey, in January and February 2026, De Gregori will perform in clubs, bringing his music back to a more intimate and harvesting atmosphere.
