Dave Stewart, Halfway Eurythmics

Dave Stewart, Halfway Eurythmics

Among the most successful synth-pop-rock groups, we cannot forget the Eurythmics. Duo formed by the singer Annie Lennox and from the guitarist and producer Dave Stewart. A success that must be attributed in equal part to the great talent of both. If Annie was, and is, in possession of a voice and a stage presence truly out of the ordinary, we must not forget and underestimate the musical abilities of Dave who, today, celebrates his birthday having been born in Sunderland, England, on September 9, 1952.

Dave’s expertise has been formed by sailing far and wide in the often rough seas of music. From the folk of Long Dancer from the beginning in the early seventies, through the prog of Childuntil meeting Annie and forming the Eurythmics who remained active throughout the 1980s. They disbanded in 1990, only to get back together in 1999 to record the album “Peace” (read the review here). Below we recall the greatest successes of Eurythmics.
