Damiano David is currently busy promoting his solo project. After participating in “Che tempo che fa” to present the first single live for the first time without Måneskin, “Silverlines” (listening to Rockl here), the series of promotional commitments saw the singer stop by some American television and radio shows.

In addition to being a guest of Jimmy Fallon, Damiano was recently the protagonist of a live session for SiriusXM Hits 1 at the radio station’s studios in New York. During the performance, accompanied by his band and some backing singers, the artist surprised the audience with a cover of “Die with a smile“, the recent collaborative single from Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars (here’s our listen).

Beyond “Silverlines“, produced by Labrinth, Damiano has already shared a second solo single, “Born with a broken heart“, which he performed live for the first time during an intimate New York concert on October 28. Both songs they anticipate a larger project such as a studio album which the singer is working on and which, in an interview for the NME, he made it known that it will be “something different and personal” underlining: “It will be excessive, dramatic, theatricalI would say. It’s definitely more personal. It’s about the drama of being alive; especially given the circumstances.”

To the British magazine, Damiano also confirmed that his solo venture will soon include a tour: “I have an idea of ​​who the drummer will be, but nothing has been signed yet and I don’t want to jinx it,” he added.
