Cure, their album streaming and on vinyl in August
Next August 9th the Care will bring an acoustic bonus disc from their 2001 compilation to streaming services for the first time “Greatest Hits”. The album dubbed “Acoustic Hits” will also be released in vinyl version. In this regard, in the last few days the British band has published some black and white videos of acoustic studio performances of some of their classics such as “A Forest”, “The Lovecats” And “Close To Me”.
The announcement of this new release comes after the group of
Robert Smith
At the beginning of the year they released a reissue of their October 1993 live album,
“Paris”
.
To tell the truth, fans of the
Care
beyond these welcome celebratory releases, await concrete news on the band’s fourteenth album which will take over the legacy of
“4:13 Dream”

) released way back in 2008. Speaking to NME magazine in March 2022,
Robert Smith
revealed that the album will be titled “Songs Of A Lost World.” “There are artwork, there’s a roadmap, it’s almost done!”
In another interview, again with NME, the frontman of the group talking about
“Songs Of A Lost World”
explained: “It’s essentially a 12-song album. It’s there, half-mixed, half-finished. It’s a strange thing. It’s evolved over the last couple of years.” The Cure have since toured with a series of previously unreleased tracks, such as
“And Nothing Is Forever”, “Alone”, “Endsong”, “I Can Never Say
Goodbye”
And
“A Fragile Thing”
