Cumgirl8 add a date in Italy

Last October 4th Cumgirl8a New York female post-punk quartet (Read here), have released their debut album “The 8th Cumming” and are playing it live around the world. Another one in Italy is now added to the dates already on the calendar.

The quartet will perform Tuesday, November 12 at District272

The Cumgirl8, as they claim, met in a sex chat 8000 years ago in another metaverse. The band, formed by Lida Fox (bass), Veronika Vilim (guitar), Chase Lombardo (drums) and Avishag Rodrigues (guitar), takes inspiration from artists such as ESG, Cocteau Twins, Suicide, CSS, B-52s, The Shangri- Las, Chris & Cosey, Madonna and many more.

They made their debut in 2022 with the self-titled EP which was followed the following year by a further EP “RIPcumgirl8”. (2021). In 2023 they signed a contract with the prestigious 4AD label for which they released yet another EP entitled “phantasea pharm”. Their debut album “The 8th Cumming” will be released on October 4th

Their arrival for a live show in Italy is preceded by fame for their incendiary, chaotic and emblematic performances of the spirit of New York performance art. Last year, the group sold out New York’s new Knitting Factory (formerly the Pyramid Club), supported Le Tigre on a sold-out Canadian tour, headlined a headline tour in Europe and UK and at festivals such as Primavera Sound, The Great Escape, Greenman, Core Festival, Loose Ends and Pitchfork Paris, to name but a few.
