Culture Club, re-released the video for “Victims”

43 years after its publication, the video of “Victims” of the Culture Club has landed on YouTube. The video resurfaces ahead of the release in cinemas on June 9th of ‘Boy George & Culture Club’the director’s new documentary Alison Ellwood.

“Victims”
it was the second single from the English band’s 1983 second album
“Colour By Numbers”
. The song had the difficult task of matching the enormous success reported by
“Karma Chameleon”
among other things it was a totally different song from that one.
“Victims”
it was released in only five countries, including Great Britain, where it reached number three in the charts.

‘Boy George & Culture Club’
premiered at
Tribeca Film Festival
of last year. The director, speaking to Rolling Stone, declared: “I was very surprised by the sincerity with which Boy George, Jon (Moss, ed.), Mikey (Craig, ed.) and Roy (Hay, ed.) told their story. Their touching testimony takes us on a very personal and engaging journey, in which each member experiences the trials and tribulations of fame and success. I believe the audience will be surprised by the depth and sophistication of their repertoire, even beyond the greats. hits that we all associate with the band.”
