Concerts, plini: a date in Treviso in spring 2026
Plini returns to Italy, the 33-year-old Australian guitarist praised by Steve Vai, who defined him without turns of words such as “the future” of the six ropes returns to the registry of the Roessler-Holgate. Famous for his virtuosistic and melodic approach to Progressive Rock/Metal instrumental music, the musician has just announced the tour to support the new album (which will be released in the first months of 2026), and among the expected dates there is one also in our country: an appointment set at the New Age of Roncade, in Treviso, on May 12, 2026. The Sungazer will go on stage.
Tickets will be on sale on mc2live.it, Vivaticket.com and related stores from 11 am on September 26th.
Although he was praised by Steve Vai, on more than one occasion Plini has admitted to having an artistic debt with Joe Satriani: “What I find differently in Joe’s way of playing is his ability to create simple and captivating melodies and to express them in such a perfect way that he must not rely on flashy passages and interesting tricks to keep the format of the instrumental song. Jam together.
The new album will come two years after the EP “Mirage”.
