From Kanye West to The Cure: the anticipation for summer gatherings is growing
Meanwhile, the anticipation for the summer rallies continues to grow, with the big announcements in recent weeks. Starting with that of Kanye West: the rapper will return to perform in Italy on 18 July 2026, at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia. 103 thousand fans are ready to welcome the “messiah” of stars and stripes rap, 160 million copies sold worldwide and an indelible influence on the rap scene of the last twenty years. Kings of Leon will return to Milan on June 20th for the first time in nine years: recognized as one of the greatest alternative rock groups of the last 20 years worldwide, with headline performances on the stages of major international festivals such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Lollapalooza, Kings of Leon will perform in the Fiera Milano Live space. The Lombard capital will also host the return of Maroon 5: the one on 25 June at the Snai San Siro Hippodrome will be the only Italian date of the band with 135 million copies sold worldwide. There is also a single date for the Cure, expected on June 14th in Florence, at the Visarno Arena, guests of Firenze Rocks, which next year will also see the participation of Lenny Kravitz, Robbie Williams, Mogwai, The Twilight Sad, Just Mustard. Among the Italian stars, Noyz Narcos has instead announced two appointments in the sports halls of Rome (11 April) and Milan (16 April), previews, perhaps, of a larger tour scheduled for the summer. There are also those who are looking directly to after the summer: Fedez, who returns to the competition at the Sanremo Festival, this time paired with Marco Masini with “Male necessary”, has announced a special event scheduled for 25 September at the UnipolForum in Assago in Milan, “Casa 360°”, presented as “an immersive experience with a central stage and surprises”. Marco Masini is also aiming for sports halls, after Sanremo: on November 3rd he will be in Milan, on the 4th in Florence, on the 7th in Padua, on the 13th in Rome and on the 24th in Naples.

From Vasco Rossi to Ultimo: a stellar 2026
From Vasco Rossi (expected in June 2026 in Ferrara, Olbia, Bari, Ancona and Udine) to Cesare Cremonini (also expected in June 2026 in Milan, Imola and Rome, where for the first time in his career he will perform at the Circo Massimo), up to Ultimo (on 4 July 2026 he will perform in front of 250 thousand spectators in Tor Vergata, the south-eastern outskirts of Capitale, with “The Rally of the Last”): 2026 will be a truly stellar year for live music. Which promises mind-boggling numbers. The stars take to the field: from Achille Lauro (expected on 10 June 2026 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome and on the 15th at the San Siro Stadium in Milan) to Ligabue, passing through Geolier, Irama and Olly, 2026 will mark the returns of other great protagonists of Italian and international pop and rock. On July 15th, in Florence, the wait will be all for My Chemical Romance, while on July 17th Ferrara will once again host another iconic name: Marilyn Manson, ready to bring his provocative and visceral show. And then there will be Gorillaz, expected on June 27th in Lido di Camaiore and July 25th in Trieste to bring their unmistakable mix of music, visual art and multimedia performances to Italy. There will be no shortage of great international pop, however. We will start on May 20th in Turin, where Twice, the record-breaking South Korean girl band, will arrive. Following, on May 22nd, Milan will host Olivia Dean, one of the most interesting voices of the new international soul-pop scene. June will instead open in Bergamo, on June 3, with a live performance by Conan Gray, an artist much loved by younger audiences and now a stable presence in the global charts. And on June 17, Lewis Capaldi, the Scottish singer-songwriter famous for his intense ballads, returns to Milan.
