Coldplay: Chris Martin in concert on the street in Dublin
In the midst of the people, singing at the top of our lungs.
Chris Martin surprised his fans and those passing by Grafton Street in Dublin, Ireland. The Coldplay frontman, along with Burna Boy, Little Simz, Elyanna and Tini, performed their collaborative single “We Pray” live. Fans took to social media to specify that the performance was in support of a new promotional video. It is the second single from their upcoming tenth studio album, “Moon Music,” due out October 4. It is followed by the lead track “feelslikeimfallinginlove,” which was released June 21. In January, the band opened up about “Moon Music,” revealing that it was nearly finished and calling it “volume two” to 2021’s “Music of the Spheres.” Coldplay debuted the new track “We Pray” during their Glastonbury headline set in June, where they were joined on stage by both Simz and Elyanna. At the time, there were rumors that the song could be called “Supernova.”
