The Patricia Armocida Gallery in Milan will host From 16 May 2025 to 27 June 2025 “Double single use“first personal exhibition of Lorenzo Urciullo aka Colapesce.

A selection of 200 photographic shots enclosed in three nuclei: “DUS. “, Acronym of the title, which, as the artist says, “is a private chronicle that documents my solitude in space”, a cataloging of furnishings and objects inside hotels in which he stayed during the travels of his career. The second series, “Teresa and Anna”, Grandma and the Turre of Lorenzo, document the symbiotic relationship between two sisters and finally “Exhausted days”, series linked to Sicily, to the paradoxes of his land and introspective visions of the artist.

The shots, in 20×20 cm format, the same format of the cementins (tiles of the typical Sicilian flooring), and 10×10 cm, printed on a visual summary that introduces Colapesce’s secret and intimate world.

The shots were carried out in a long time sequence of over ten years, the 200 on display are selected from more than 1800 photographs of his personal archive.

For the first time Colapsce shares its world with visitors and to allow an effective reading of the images on display, integrates the catalog with an autograph text.
