Bruce Springsteen: “unreleased” material to be released in 2025

Bruce Springsteen gives an appointment to fans for 2025. Not only with new concerts, starting from the recovery of some of the dates that were originally scheduled this year – such as the two in Milan – and which were postponed due to the health problems of the rocker (he will perform at San Siro on 30 June and 3 July). But also with new recordings. In a press release released by his entourage to take stock of the year that is about to begin, we read that 2025 will also include “a look at Springsteen’s legendary recording career, with material never heard before”.

Further details were not anticipated, but the announcement immediately set off the tom-tom among the Boss’ fans, who wonder what the New Jersey rocker has in store.

Several anniversaries will fall in 2025: from the fiftieth anniversary of “Born to run” (the album that helped him gain rock star status with songs like “Thunder Road”, “Tenth Avenue freeze-out”, “Backstreets” and “Jungleland” , as well as “Born to run” itself) to the forty-fifth anniversary of “The river”, passing through the thirty-year anniversary of “The ghost of Tom Joad” and the twentieth anniversary of “Devils & dust”. Is the Boss working on a reissue with unreleased material of one – or more – of these titles?
