Springsteen is about to return live (but in the meantime he's looking back to '78)

Bruce Springsteen: “I will vote for Kamala Harris, Trump is dangerous”

With a video released through his social networks, Bruce Springsteen’s endorsement for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the November presidential elections has arrived.

Sitting in a diner, an American setting if there is one, the Boss explains the reasons for his choice with an articulate speech, based on what he represents America, a country “never politically, spiritually and emotionally divided since the times of the civil war” :

It doesn’t have to be this way. The common values, the shared stories that make us a great and united nation, our wait to be rediscovered and told once again. Now, it will take time. Hard work, intelligence, faith, and women and men with the national good to guide their hearts.

“We are the greatest nation not because of our military power or our economy but because of our values,” Springsteen continues. Values such as social justice, individual freedom and the ability to love who you want are represented by Harris. While Trump “is the most dangerous candidate I have ever seen in my life”, says Springsteen, a lifelong Democrat who often supports the candidates of the “liberal” party with concerts and rallies.

“Trump’s contempt for the sanctity of our Constitution, the sanctity of democracy, the sanctity of the rule of law, and the sanctity of the peaceful transfer of power should prevent him from ever seeking the office of president. He doesn’t understand the meaning of this country, its history or what it means to be deeply American. Harris and Walz want to grow our economy in a way that benefits everyone, not just a few like me first.
This is the vision of America that I have consistently written about for 55 years.”
