Bruce Springsteen has officially joined the billionaire club

From “working class hero” to Scrooge McDuck of rock: Bruce Springsteen has officially entered the billionaire club. This was revealed by Forbes magazine, the “bizzia” of economics and finance, according to which the Boss’s assets today would be worth 1.1 billion dollars.

Springsteen’s last few years have been particularly profitable. In December 2021, the “Born in the USA” singer sold his masters and catalog to Sony Music in a deal that earned him about $500 million. Since February of last year, the Boss has been on tour and despite criticism over ticket prices and various shows postponed due to health problems, he has reportedly earned $380 million from the shows.

Before the Boss, another rock star had joined the billionaire club last May: Paul McCartney. Sir Paul’s net worth is estimated at 1 billion pounds (over 1 billion and one hundred euros), a figure that has grown significantly in the last 12 months. Last year, the Sunday Times reported, the 81-year-old music icon increased his wealth by 50 million pounds. He was helped in this by the 2023 tour and the lucrative value of his discography.
