Bruce Springsteen, concerts in Milan on 1 and 3 June postponed

Bruce Springsteen has postponed the concerts scheduled for June 1st and 3rd at the Meazza stadium in San Siro, Milan: the artist's staff announced this in a statement posted on the official social channels.

The artist, who only yesterday, Saturday 25 May, was forced to postpone the date scheduled in Marseille due to voice problems, has also postponed the scheduled appointment with Czech fans scheduled in Prague for next 28 May. The tour will resume regularly on June 12th from Madrid.

“After yesterday's postponement in Marseille due to vocal problems, further tests have led doctors to establish that Bruce should not perform for the next ten days,” reads the note released this afternoon, Sunday 26 April: “Bearing in mind this indications, further postponements were necessary for the shows scheduled for Letnany airport in Prague (originally scheduled for May 28) and the San Siro stadium in Milan (scheduled for June 1 and 3). New dates for the postponed concerts will be announced shortly. Bruce is recovering well, and he and the E Street Band look forward to resuming their hugely successful European stadium tour on June 12th in Madrid at the magnificent Civitas Metropolitan.”

As specified by the artist's Italian promoters, tickets already purchased will remain valid for the new concerts in Milan.

Those who wish to obtain a refund for the concerts originally scheduled at San Siro for June 1st and 3rd can forward the request to the ticketing system where the purchase was made (Ticketone, Ticketmaster or Vivaticket), following the procedures indicated on the respective websites, starting from Wednesday 29 May and no later than 20 July.

After the three dates in the Spanish capital on 12, 14 and 17 June, Springsteen plans to perform in Barcelona (20 and 22 June), Nijmegen (in Holland, 27 and 29 June), Werchter (in Belgium, on 2 July), Hannover (in Germany, 5 July), Odense (in Denmark, 9 July), Helsinki (12 July), Stockholm (18 July), Bergen (21 July) and London, where the branch European tour will end on 25 and 27 July. The artist will then return to the United States, where he will begin performing again in Pittsburgh on August 15th.
