Bruce Springsteen: A Current Tour Documentary on Disney+

A has been announced new documentary about Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's current world tour. The project, entitled “Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band“, he promises to deliver “the most in-depth look yet” at how the New Jersey singer-songwriter and his band prepare for a tour, as well as showcasing “Springsteen's creative process” through “footage of band rehearsals and special moments backstage“.

Additionally, the documentary will include “rare stock clips of the E Street Band, which recall the themes of life, loss, mortality and community” and will try to be “an essential chapter never seen before” of the Boss' autobiographical series which began with the book “Born to run” and continued with “Springsteen on Broadway”, and the films “Western stars” and “Letter to you”.

“Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band”, directed like Springsteen's previous projects by Thom Zimnywill be available on Disney+. The release is scheduled for next Octoberalthough a specific date has not yet been announced.

The current tour kicked off in February last year from Tampa with Springsteen returning in concert with the E Street Band after almost six years. Passing through Italy for three dates in 2023, the tour then restarted last March after a stop due to Springsteen's health problems, to continue in 2024 – with two shows also scheduled at the stadium San Siro in Milan next June 1st and 3rd.
