In an interview with “Rock of Nations with Dave Kinchen and Shane Mceacern”, the singer of Iron Maiden Bruce Dickinson He spoke of the European Branca Spring/Summer 2025 of the world tour “Run for Your Lives” of the band. The tour marked the first series of group concerts with the new drummer Simon Dawsonto replace the historical drummer of the group Nicko McBrain.

Nicko McBrain announced his retirement on December 7, 2024. The band’s manager, Rod Smallwoodhe commented: “Thanks for being an irrepressible force behind the battery of the Maiden for 42 years and my friend for a long time. I speak on behalf of the whole band when I say that we will miss immensely!”. The following day Iron Maiden announced Simon Dawson as a new drummer for the tour.
