Bob Marley: “Exodus” released in a limited edition with rarities
After the arrival in cinemas of the biographical film “Bob Marley: one love”, expected in Italian cinemas from February 22nd, accompanied by a soundtrack already available, the “king of reggae” will also be celebrated with a re-release of his album with the Wailers’ 1977, “Exodus.”
On May 24th the album will be released in a new limited edition which, in addition to the original album on LP, will include a 10″ vinyl with rare bonus tracks.
In addition to having spent 56 consecutive weeks in the charts in Great Britain and, many years later, having even obtained the title of record of the twentieth century awarded by Time, “Exodus” is defined by the Director of the Jamaican Music Museum Herbie Miller in the liner notes – as reported by a press release – “a timeless document that publicly reveals contemplations and reflections on the life of one of the most revolutionary artists of the 20th century”.
As also depicted in a scene from the film “Bob Marley: One Love”, the alternative cover is taken from the original album layout, curated by Neville Garrick, creative designer and longtime friend of Bob Marley.
