Billie Eilish releases new album 'Hit me hard and soft' in May
“Hit me hard and soft” is the title of Billie Eilish's new and third studio album, coming soon May 17th. The announcement of the new recording comes after a series of rumors and information launched by the Californian pop star herself, veteran – among other things – of the victory at the Grammy Awards 2024 in the “best original song” category with “What was I made for” from the film soundtrack “Barbie”.
In a press release, the album is presented as “the artist's most courageous work yet, a collection as diverse as it is cohesive of songs, a record designed to be listened to in its entirety, from beginning to end”.
“Hit me hard and soft” arrives five years after its debut record of the voice of “Bad guy” in 2019 with “When we all fall asleep, where do we go?” and the consecration of 2021 with “Happier than ever”.
“I'm really thrilled to have announced the record. There will be no singles before. I want you to feel it all at once. Finneas and I couldn't be more proud of this album and can't wait for you all to hear it. We love you,” Billie Eilish wrote on her social media announcing the album:
