Beatles, the first trailer of the documentary produced by Scorsese
“Beatles ’64” is coming to Disney+, which according to the official press release “captures the electrifying moment of The Beatles’ first visit to America” over 60 years ago. It will be available on the streaming platform from Friday November 29and today the first trailer was released.
Martin Scorsese produced the documentary together with Margaret Bodde, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, George Harrison’s widow Olivia Harrison, John Lennon’s son Sean Ono Lennon, Jonathan Clyde and Mikaela Beardsley. Jeff Jones and Rick Yorn are the executive producers.
Among the never-before-seen footage included in “Beatles ’64” are videos shot by documentarians Albert and David Maysles and restored in 4K, the live performances of the Beatles’ debut concert in the United States at the Washington Coliseum and their appearances atEd Sullivanthe latter were demixed by WingNut Films and remixed by Giles Martin.
To coincide with the release of the documentary, it is announced for November 22nd the reissue on 180 gram vinyl of seven Beatles studio albums released in the United States.
