Baustelle: “A story”, another anticipation from the new album

While just over a month is missing at the release of their next studio album, “El Galactico“, Coming on April 4th two years after the previous” Elvis “(here our review), i Baustelle offer today A new anticipation of the disc.

To deceive the wait for the exit of the album, the band has released the single “A story“, second extract after”Strip me“. The single is accompanied by a video, available together with the song from 18 (Italian time) today. The clip, reported below, is presented in a press release like”A further discovery of the atmosphere of this new album: At the center of the scene a girl listening to the events narrated by the Baustelle, who appear in some frames. The scenario recalls that of the ‘changing “video clip and reveals the character of this album, inspired by California of the 1960s”.

About the new single “A story” – like the whole disc co -produced with Federico Nardelli, mixed by Ivan A.Rossi and burned by Giovanni Versari – Francesco Bianconi tells on social media:

“As the title suggests, a story.
Possible black chronicle? A fact? Someone has undergone violence.
Someone has filmed and humiliated on the net.
A narrative voice, perhaps no longer from the world of the living, tells us about its shame.
A sacrifice was made, a new ordinary social-tragedia was staged.
“A story” is an open story, those who listen to it will build its meaning with us “

In addition to publishing a new album, this year the Baustelle celebrate their 25 years of career and to celebrate have organized “El Galactico Festival“, The first festival conceived, written and directed by the band to be held on 1 and 2 June in Florence at the Amphitheater of the Cascine Ernesto de Pascale, where everything has started. On June 1st they will go on the stage of the Festival Emma Nolde, the neoprimitives, Matteo Bordone & Daniela Collu with a podcast live and finally Pierpaolo de Sanctis (Four Furs Records DJ Set). On June 2, however, the artists present will be Marta del Greati Delicatoni, Stefano Nazzi with a special episode of investigations e Bassolin For the DJ set.

Subsequently, The baustelle will be engaged in the summer tour “El Galactico Summer Live”for a total of 10 live appointments. The tour will start on June 24 from Bologna, to then continue on July 2 in Perugia, on 4 July in Genoa, on 6 July in Sesto al Reghena, on 8 July in Collegno, on 18 July in Sarzana, on 10 August in Locorotondo, on August 12 in Roccella Jonica, on 16 August in Palermo and finally it will end on September 5 in Bellaria Igea Marina.
