Barbra Streisand duet with Paul McCartney on “My Valentine”

Barbra Streisand has announced an album of duets that sees the collaboration of legends like Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney and James Taylor.

The new collection, “The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two”, out on June 27, also includes a trio performance with Mariah Carey And Aryan Large and was produced by Walter Afanasieff And Peter Asher. The album orchestrations were treated by William Ross And David Campbellrecorded at The Streisand Scoring Stage in Culver City, California and with the London Symphony Orchestra At Abbey Road Studios in London.

The duet with McCartney on “My Valentine” was published on May 16th. Follows the first single, “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face”, with Hozier.

For this new collection of duets, the Streisand, who turned 83 on April 24, collaborated with a stellar group of friends, contemporary artists, admirers and label companions with whom he shared the microphone in eleven songs.

The album is the sequel to the 2014 duet collection, “Partners”, certified in first place as a platinum album, and which saw the presence of Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel and others.

Sharing time with him in the studio was very special! I have always loved duet with talented artists, they inspire me in unique and different ways … and make the time spent in the studio a joy!

My new album gave me the opportunity to work and play with some of my old friends, label companions and new artists. I admire them all … and I hope you will like to listen to our collaborations as much as I liked to record with all my wonderful partners.
