Bambie Thug: after Eurovision live in Italy
They arrive in Italy Bambie Thug with a single appointment Sunday 15 September to the Santeria Tuscany 31 Of Milan.
They represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song “Doomsday Blue”, finishing in sixth place – the highest placing for an Irish artist in 24 years, also wowing audiences with their witchy aesthetic and highly cinematic videos that has seen them transform into otherworldly characters such as “HIM” from the Powerpuff Girls and a bride vampire.
Their Eurovision performance was one of the best in this year's competition, now they are coming to our country.
Bambie Thug (they/them/fae), alternative artists from Cork, are destroying gender stereotypes with music that borders on elements of pop, rock, electronic and more.
Calling himself “Ouija-pop” to describe his sound, Bambie Thug has garnered attention over the past two years with a string of genre-defying singles and an EP titled “Cathexis”.
No strangers to the big stage, Bambie have graced festival stages around the world, including Download Festival, The Great Escape and Trans Musicales. Their performances have been described as “genderqueer, with occult overtones and a theatrical touch”, receiving much praise from the international press.
Tickets will be available in advance for My Live Nation users from 10.00 am on Monday 27 May. General ticket sales will be open starting from 10.00 am on Tuesday 28 May.
