Annalisa, Mahmood, CCCP: summer live at the Porto Antico in Genoa

Important birthday for one of the most loved and awaited events of the summer season in Liguria: “Porto Antico EstateSpettacolo” turns 25 and demonstrates them with a constant crescendo in terms of numbers and quality of the shows offered. With a program that as always embraces the entire summer and offers a range of events for all tastes and all ages, Estatespettacolo Genoa once again it makes the variety of the offer its strong point and its winning feature. After the preview as per tradition at Festival Suq, which started on June 13th which will continue until the 23rd, with its very rich program in Piazza delle Feste, Isola delle Chiatte opens on 28 and 29 June at the Arena del Mare with a double concert by Biagio Antonacci and arrives at the end of August with the Sea Stories Festival: in total there will be 23 evenings at the Arena del Mare, 28 events in Piazza delle Feste and 11 theater shows on the Isola delle Chiatte.

More than two months of programming, evenings with two different shows at the same time and the commitment to offer entertainment for everyone: from Annalisa to Mahmood, from Piero Pelù to CCCP, from Ex Otago to Subsonica, and then RengaNek, Elio e le Storie Tese, Massimo Pericolo, Ermal Meta, Willie Peyote, Carcass, Marlene Kuntz, Simone Cristicchi and Amara, Fulminacci and others. Special attention will be dedicated to theatrical performances, one-man shows and recitals by leading actors on the national scene, a real phenomenon which has characterized the offer of EstateSpettacolo in recent years and which this year will see alternating on the stages of the Porto Antico artists of the caliber of Andrea Pucci, Luca Bizzarri, Gabriele Cirilli, Enzo Paci, Pino Strabioli, Saverio Raimondo up to the newest and most irreverent stand-up comedians and the inevitable and always highly requested “classics” Cabin burners and Pirates of the Caruggi. There will be no shortage of the most original and entertaining formats of the moment, a trend of our time which is divided into shows of all kinds, from those aimed at very young people who make everyone dance and let loose, such as “Teenage Dream” and “I want to go back to the 90s”to the more evocative and refined ones such as “Candlelight”, classic and modern concerts by candlelight.

It's still: evenings dedicated to jazz, prog music, tribute bands, classics and new releases, to complete a program that mixes genres and audiences in the name of quality entertainment. As always, EstateSpettacolo is an event that brings together the most relevant local festivals and organisers and contributes significantly to making Genoa an important venue for shows thanks to the offer of multifunctional spaces, perfectly equipped and above all central and easily accessible by all means of public transport. For its 25th birthday, the Genoese summer festival par excellence wants to treat itself and give the city a new capacity: Porto Antico of Genoa is working because the Arena del Mare, today approved for 5000 spectatorsthrough a process of rationalization of spaces can accommodate up to 6000 people, a symbolically important milestone for this anniversary, but concretely essential if you look at it with the growth of the event in mind. These are important numbers if we consider that we are in the heart of the historic centre: working in this perspective will allow us to broaden the range of origin of the public.
