Annalisa: “In the new album I want to collaborate more”
“And then we ended up in the vortex” was the album of the “new life”, of the transformation: the album that allowed her to take flight and become one of the queens of Italian pop. But Annalisa, rightly, after a summer tour full of sold outs, a long tail of the one in the arenas, is already thinking about her new album. After 43 Platinums and 14 Golds, Annalisa is the most certified woman of 2024 and obtaining the fifth Platinum with “Mon Amour” and “Bellissima” she is the first solo artist to achieve this result. “Sinceramente” and “E poi siamo finiti nel vortice” are the best-selling single and album by a female voice in the official chart of the first half of 2024, respectively at no. 3 for singles and no. 6 for albums.
The voice of “Bellissima” will close the summer tour shortly after mid-Augustwill take a short break, and then go to the recording studio to work on the new album, which will most likely be released in 2025. In an interview with Rai he declared: “What will I do after the tour? After August 17th I will take a short break to regenerate, a necessary break and then I will return to the recording studio to dedicate myself to the new project. I have to say that I can’t wait to get back to work, because it’s always nice. I made a record entirely without features. And I want, when I start working on the next one, to invite a few colleagues. Because I really want to exchange, to build something together with them.”
He then continued: “If I have to tell the last two years, the word ‘vortex’ is perfect. It’s not a word I thought of for the great success that has arrived, but for the great cycles and for my reinventing myself and continually putting myself back into play. Every time I think of a new album I start from scratch. In any case I feel like a very lucky woman. My passion is my talent and that is something special.”. About collaborations: “Short Stories”, the piece written with Tananai as an “anti-catchphrase”, it is currently at the top of the radio. The song, in fact, especially in the chorus, is persuasive, it is a delicate pop, a bit vintage, that stays in your head, but without sticking in an obsessive and sticky way, and this makes the difference. “Storie brevi” encapsulates the pop soul of both artists, whose voices blend and intertwine effortlessly.. And that’s not all, many are looking for her more and more: she lent her voice to the songs “Salto nel buio” by Stabber in collaboration with Coez“Memories” by Cape Plaza“Animal Instinct” by Don Joe in collaboration with Guè and Erniaand “Beatrice” of Tedua. Collaborations, as the singer-songwriter herself explained, could really be the new stars that guide her.
