Amedeo Minghi: the album “Anima Sbiadita” and a theater tour
Amedeo Minghi returns with a new studio album entitled “Faded Soul” eight years after the previous work in 2016 “The compass and the heart” (read the review here). “Faded Soul” it will be available starting from November 8th on digital platforms, in CD and vinyl formats (the latter in two versions, one of which is a limited edition numbered and autographed on transparent support).
The album was created with the collaboration of Andrea Montemurro who participated in the writing of some texts. These are the titles of the eleven unreleased compositions that make up the album: “You don’t play anymore”, “There’s no wind tonight”, “Faded soul”, “The colors of the east”, “The important thing is her (damn )”, “Where are you where ever”, “Thinking about flying”, “Life is like that”, “Papillon”, “Never forget”, “A.mi”.
“I told what I am, what we live” he underlines Amedeo Minghi “There are deliberately references and quotes that have to do with my musical history, but I believe that this work represents something new.”
The release of the album will be accompanied by a theater tour which will see the 77-year-old Roman musician accompanied on stage by a string sextet and a band composed of Luca Perroni at the piano, Giandomenico Anellino on the guitar, Alexander Club on the bass, Stefano Marazzi on the drums, and by the voices of Rosy Messina And Giordano Spadafora.
