Alcest: everything is ready for the Milan date

Two years after their last performance (dated 14 October 2022 at the Live Club in Trezzo S/Adda, just outside Milan), Alcest, a French metal band, return to perform in Italy.

The concert in Milan will be an opportunity to present the new album “Les Chants de l’Aurore” published last June 21st, the seventh LP of a record production that began in 2005 after a 2001 demo.

The band was born in 1999 in a town in Occitania by the will of the guitarist and singer Neige (born Stéphane Paut) already a member of several bands in the area. He is joined by two fellow adventurers who subsequently leave the band. Neige thus remains the only official member of the lineup until the drummer finally joins the lineup Winterhalter. Alcest still today is made up of the two plus session musicians.

Over the years, Alcer have changed their style, also approaching progressive rock and experimenting a lot, then returning to metal.

The band’s music features the fantasies of the founder who, since childhood, has imagined life in a fantasy world populated by fairy-tale characters with colours, shapes and sounds not present in reality.

The French band’s Milan concert will be opened by Svalbard (Bristol post-hardcore band) e Doodseskader (Belgian metal band).
