The turnout continues at the pop-up store dedicated to the 50 years of AC/DC's career, which can still be visited throughout the weekend in Corso di Porta Ticinese, 16 in Milan, with free entry.
In the AC/DC 50 pop up store, talks with guests, exhibitions, listening sessions and events dedicated to all fans but also to those who want to learn more about the iconic Australian rock band alternate for three days (from yesterday to Sunday 17 March) .
It is possible to purchase gadgets dedicated to AC/DC's 50 years of career and the first 9 albums reissued by Columbia Records/Legacy Recordings: “Back in Black”, “Highway to Hell”, “The Razors Edge”, “Powerage”, ” For Those About to Rock (We Salute you)”, “High Voltage”, “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap”, “Who Made Who” and “Live” (which Rockol will review one a day starting from Tuesday 19th).
Today, Saturday 16 March, from 5.00 pm there will be a talk with Massimo Cotto and Claudio Trotta who will retrace the history of AC/DC through music and behind-the-scenes anecdotes (free admission while seats last).
Tomorrow, Sunday 17 March, from 5pm the store will be animated by Alteria's DJ set (free entry while seats last).
The pop up store is embellished with the works of photographers Guido Karp (2008), Henry Ruggeri (2015), Paolo De Francesco (2009), Simone Di Luca (2015) and Tylor Crothers dedicated to AC/DC.
The pop up store in Milan is in partnership with Barley Arts, Virgin Radio and Rockol.
Rockol has launched a contest aimed at all AC/DC fans who visit the pop up store these days: “Prove to us that you are true AC/DC fans by taking a photo inside the pop up store on Saturday and Sunday and send us the photos to [email protected] to try to be among the lucky ones who will have one of the 9 gold-colored vinyls from the catalog reprinted for the 50th anniversary delivered to their home!”.
