Linn Youki Project return with “Futur personalitzat” and announce new album

ByJohn

The project led by the producer Marco Morgione has announced his recording comeback with the publication of “Futur personalitzat”. This single works as the first preview of his next studio album, titled “#09 (Distopia, Imperfection and Fragility)”whose release on CD and digital format is scheduled for November 20. The work represents the continuation of “#06”originally published in 2013.

The new song, which features the vocal collaboration of Carol Ibanezcombines elements of garage, krautrock and noise under a lyrical approach that is dystopian and critical of current events. The launch is accompanied by a video clip made by Armand Rodriguez through the technique of found footagein which images of a snowfall in Camprodon are intertwined with sequences from Morgione himself.

On a compositional level, the album vindicates experimentation and error in the face of the commercial dynamics of the music market. For this installment, the project—recognized by Morgione’s career as a sound technician for groups such as Antònia Font, Los Punsetes either ZA!— adds the instrumental and vocal collaborations of Maurici Ribera (Missing Leech)Albert Jordà, Marta Solà and Xavi Caparros.
