Texas will return to Madrid with the anniversary of “White On Blonde”

The iconic band celebrates three decades of the album that made them superstars, “White On Blonde”. Along with the anniversary release comes new single “Another Way To Cry” and a major UK and European tour in 2027, which will include a concert on November 11, 2027 at the Vistalegre Palace in Madridin which they will review the songs from this iconic album along with all the greatest hits of their career.

Known for their captivating live shows, the band will return to the stage to pay tribute to their iconic album “White On Blonde”released in February 1997. Certified six-times platinum in the UK, the album embraces the band’s passion for soul, trip-hop and other genres. The reissue of the album will also include a completely new and previously unreleased song, “Another Way To Cry”, a song influenced by his passion for northern soul and packed with brass and string arrangements.

The song is accompanied by a video clip shot in the Scottish Highlands and directed by Niall Trask starring Sharleen alongside Robert Carlyle. The video clip is a love letter to the film “Paris, Texas”from which the band took its name. The special anniversary edition, which includes introductory texts written by his friend and comedian Peter Kaywill be published in various formats, including, for the first time, on vinyl, through Play It Again Sam.
