Javiera Mena will celebrate twenty years since her debut in Madrid and Barcelona

Javiera Mena will offer two concerts in Madrid and Barcelona as part of an international tour that celebrates the two decades of her debut album “Youth Scheme”which was released in 2006. The album was one of the fundamental albums of Latin American electronic pop at the time, and remains so today. In our country, the artist debuted as a guest star of the Nordic band Kings Of Convenience.

We will be able to see her performing again in Madrid (November 3, Sala Changó) and Barcelona (November 4, La Nau)to celebrate an album that took her to tour around the world and, since then, to perform in countless venues, festivals and even have nominations for the Latin GRAMMY, MTV Europe Music Awards, MTV Millennial Awards and Pulsar Awards.

The anniversary will also have a special vinyl reissue scheduled for the end of November 2026, initially for the Chilean market. Let us remember that, since then, Mena has released albums as interesting as “Mirror” (18), “Nocturnal” (22) or “Immersion” (25) and that this year he has collaborated with artists such as Antumalen Island and Sofia Comas.
