While waiting for the “Jubilee of Vasco” and in the midst of the 2026 tour, Vasco has shared the official video of one of the most surprising songs included in the setlist in this year’s concerts, “A new song for her”, which had been missing from the setlist for forty-one years, one of the songs least played live by Vasco

Vasco played it only on the 1985 tour linked to “Cosa trova in città”, the album of which the song was part. “For what I have to do (I’m in the military)” has been missing from Vasco’s concerts for sixteen years: the last time the rocker sang it was in 2010, during a concert at the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence. Before that he had played it once in 1997 (at the Fillmore Live Club in Cortemaggiore) and a handful of times between 1995 and 1996.
