Strokes, new surprise single: it’s “Falling out of love”

The Strokes temper fans’ anticipation for the release of their new album “Reality awaits” by surprisingly releasing another preview of the album. After the single “Going shopping”, released at the beginning of April, now it’s the turn of “Falling out of love”. It is a song over six minutes long: a ballad in which at a certain point Julian Casablancas almost seems to speak, rather than sing. You can listen to it below:

“Reality awaits” will be released on June 26th, six years after the previous “The new abnormal”. The album was recorded in Costa Rica with Rick Rubin and then finished around the world.

And around the world the band will return to play after the summer, with a tour that will start in October and which will also see the band return to Italy, on 17 October at the UnipolArena in Bologna.
