King Marracash: here is the trailer of the docufilm

Pre-sales are open “King Marracash”the docufilm dedicated to Marracash, arriving in Italian cinemas on May 25, 26 and 27. It is also available the trailer, which previews the story: a year of life between dreams, challenges and triumphs of the King of Italian rap, up to the first stadium tour for a rapper in our country, with the symbolic stop at the San Siro Stadium. Produced by Greenland, in collaboration with Disney+ and in association with Adler Entertainment, the film traces the career of Fabio Rizzo by intertwining artistic and personal dimensions. To give depth to the story, the testimonies of those who shared this journey with him: Deleterio, Elodie, Guè, Jacopo Pesce, Matteo Mancuso, Marz, Mirko Rizzo, Paola Zukar, Rame and Massimo Recalcati.

Directed by Pippo Mezzapesa, who also wrote the story and screenplay together with Antonella W. Gaeta, Chiara Battistini and Shadi Cioffi, the documentary film follows the artist’s journey from his first rhymes to success, passing through moments of stasis, fragility and rebirth. A journey that starts from Barona, among the places of his childhood, and extends to Sicily, the land of his family roots. Filmed in close contact with the artist for a year, “King Marracash” shows everyday life, affections, collaborators and the creative processuntil it became the final chapter of an artistic journey that consecrated him as a central figure of the Italian music scene. The story culminates with a return to the origins: a Block Party in his neighborhood, a concert designed as restitution and redemption. A symbolic gesture (here is the live review) which closes the circle and reiterates a clear message: changing your destiny is possible, but becoming the absolute King of rap is something exceptional.
