Litfiba: “Springsteen takes sides, so do we, but we are few”

Litfiba re-release “17 kings”, with the live version on May 1st

After the first publication, 40 years after the album’s release, Litfiba reissued the single “17 RE”, the song that gave the title to the album published in 1986 but which, although recorded, was excluded from the tracklist because at that time it was not considered in line with the rest of the album. The first publication took place last April, simultaneously with the presentation of the tour in which the “historic” lineup of the band (Piero Pelù, Ghigo Renzulli, Antonio Aiazzi, Gianni Maroccolo) will play the album. “17 KINGS”starting from next June 27th he will return to stages throughout Italy thanks to Forty years of ’17 Kings’ – tour 2026”.

The new version of the single, the third, will be available on a transparent maxi single which presents on side A the original version of “17 Re” and on side B the live version recorded this evening on the May Day Concert Stage in Piazza San Giovanni, the occasion on which the band performed the song live for the first time, released 40 years after the release of the album of the same name. It will only be available for pre-order on the Sony Music Store until May 5th.
