Angelina Mango: “I didn’t get sick from success”

Two days before the zero date of the tour which marks his return to the stageAngelina Mango shared one through social media letter. In the long writing the singer, winner of the Sanremo Festival 2024 with “La noia” and who returned after a year’s break last October with the album “Caramé”, shared some reflections related to her distance from the scenes and on his new live adventure.

“Last night I went on stage. My stage. What I imagined, designed and lived with my heart until just before having it in front of me. Needless to say, how much I cried”, begins the letter that Angelina shared through a shot from her personal diary on Instagram. On the page, dated February 19, 2026, we then read: “It’s a show that isn’t a show. It’s beautiful. I look around, then I close my eyes and think that there is none of this that isn’t 100% me.” Then comes the most important passage in the writing, which takes us back to the pause period:

“It’s not the success, the full calendar or the stress that made me ill. What really hurts is not listening to yourself, it’s not feeling free.”

Ready to return with the “Nina sings in the theaters” tour, the voice of “We’ll think about it tomorrow” then described her “stage” and what makes her feel free and good: “Well, last night I felt free on that stage. I had no make-up on and I didn’t give a damn if my fringe ended up in my eyes, because I was too excited”. The letter continues describing a moment of tranquility with his dog: “Now I’m here, in bed, with Gin sleeping. Another day of rehearsals awaits me, and in two days the zero date. Obviously, I already have a sore throat and an earache. But, on the other hand, who am I not to be sick every time I have something to do?”. Finally thinking back to last year, Angelina Mango decided to confess:

“A year ago this seemed like another life. I didn’t think I would ever go back to making music or on stage. Maybe the difference is that now I’m not going on stage, but it’s him who comes to meet me. Happy tour to everyone who will experience it with me”.

After the zero date set for Saturday 21 February at the PalaUnical Teatro in Mantua, Angelina Mango’s tour will pass through Naples on 2 March, Rome on 4 March and Catania on 7 March, before stopping in Palermo on 19 March, Bari on 12 March, Turin on 16 March and Bologna on 18 March. Subsequently, “Nina canta nei theaters” will take the singer to perform on March 21st in Fermo, on March 24th in Florence and will end with two dates on March 27th and 28th in Milan.
