Sting and Lewis Capaldi perform a surprise concert for charity

A benefit variety show in Newcastle becomes an event of international significance thanks to Sting And Lewis Capaldiwho made a surprise performance at the fundraiser.

The show is usually held every two years, but the last time dates back to 2020 (the attempt to re-propose it three years later failed due to the crisis): six years later Sunday for Sammy returns in style to the Utilita Arena in Newcastle to raise funds for local emerging artists.

The event, which sees the participation of numerous TV, theater and music stars from the north-east of England, was founded in 2000 in honor of the actor Sammy Johnson, who passed away in 1998.

This year among the artists also performed Matty Healyfrontman of The 1975 and son of one of the show’s founders, Tim Healy.
