. On the latter album, Brown is credited with writing one of the band’s hits,
“The Distance”
.
Shortly before the release of the third album by
Cake
,
“Prolonging the magic”

left the band to form i

. He then reunited for a short period with the
Cake
playing guitar in
“Bound Away”
in the album
“Showroom of Compassion”
