The woman of “Black Sabbath” now uses fame to save cats
The woman who appears on the cover of the debut album of the Black Sabbath, no longer much mysterious, has decided to auction her autograph to raise funds to be allocated to a rescue project for cats. Louisa Livingstone, whose identity was revealed only five years ago after decades of speculations, will sign a handwritten letter for the winner of the draw.
“Many Black Sabbath fans have asked me for an autograph online, and still nobody has one today – for a series of reasons!”, Says Livingstone. “But now I have decided, in this epic moment in which the Black Sabbath hold their last concert ever, to auction my autograph. In this way, everyone has a possibility, with a minimum expense”.
Tickets to participate in the draw cost only 1 dollar, and the fans can buy more than one to increase their possibilities of victory. The extraction will be held on July 20, two weeks after the last Sabbath show.
“The only other autographs that I left around are very few, assuming that they still exist”, adds Livingstone: the autographs were given on very rare occasions after theatrical performances at the National Theater in London, decades ago, when I recited on various shows, including “Lark Rise” and “Candleford” “.
The mysterious object that Livingstone holds in his hand on the cover of the Black Sabbath album has always been a source of discussion, even if the photographer Keith Macmillan has always argued that it was a black cat. “I think it’s just the way I keep my hands.” Instead, Livingstone told “Rolling Stone USA” in 2020: “I am sure I would remember it, if it had been a cat”.
Livingstone also publishes their own music with the name of art Indrebaeven if those who expect dark and heavy riffs could be disappointed by their new song, oriented towards synth sounds, entitled “Anthem to Truth – See More, Oh Yeah”.
