WOODinSTOCK, music, social commitment and Buscadero Day

WOODinSTOCK- Music, Art & Sport Connection returns to Ternate for its twelfth edition, and the one that will be held from 19 to 21 July at Berrini Park focuses a lot on solidarity and social issues right from the choice of artists and organizations involved.

Social commitment and fun are well represented by some artists chosen as protagonists of the evenings. Admission is free with a conscious offering for the fight against Parkinson’s disease.

Below is the program for each day.

Friday 19 July 2024 – First day

On the Palco Fondazione there will be, in addition to the singer-songwriter Lorenzo Baglioni and the Varese group Litorale Est led by Riki Cellini, the ipnago, a young original project also by musicians from Varese, and Ale & Ale, who will see Milos Raparini as a special guest. The indoor stage, inside the municipal structure of the Ternate park, will host the Cash Wagon, a newly formed tribute to Johnny Cash and June Carter, and then make room for DJ Jesse, strictly on vinyl.

Saturday 20 July 2024 – second day

Second day of the Festival and on the Fondazione Stage rock will be the protagonist with Rezophonic with Eva Poles and various special guests including Noise and Paletta of Punkreas. Before them, numerous bands ranging from folk-rock by Al Cash Project, to funk
pop by BiSound; from the original and intimate grunge of HeavyMeal to the blues rock of Joe Valeriano; from the legendary rock of Motorroll to the pop/punk of Sunset Avenue.

Sunday 21 July 2024 – third day

The whole day of Sunday will be Buscadero Day, in honor and in collaboration with the historic magazine “Buscadero”. Buscadero Day is the festival within the festival, the musical marathon now in its fifteenth edition and for the fourth time in Ternate with WOODinSTOCK. This year’s edition will be special, in memory of Paolo Carù, founder of the magazine, who passed away prematurely and suddenly last June. The artists who will pay homage to him and who will alternate on the 3 stages will be many and today we can confirm some names destined to increase in the coming days: Bob Dylan’s historic violinist, Scarlet Rivera; David Ford, English singer-songwriter; Massimo Priviero and Andrea Parodi Zabala with his Borderlobo; Joe D’Urso with the band of his European tour, the Italian Job; The Vad Vuc from Canton Ticino; Eileen Rose & the Legendary Rich Gilbert from the States; The Morsellis, Arizona Parker, Tiziano Cantatore, Marilena Anzini, Massimiliano Larocca, Il Mago Santo, Eileen Rose… and more surprises are announced.
