What’s on Obama’s traditional playlist this year?
What’s on Barack Obama’s traditional New Year’s Eve playlist? As per tradition, the former president of the United States shared with his followers the list of hits that he listened to the most – or that he liked most – of the year that is about to end. There is a lot of black music, but not only that. The playlist ranges from Kendrick Lamar (whose “Squabble up” he inserted) to BeyoncĂ© (whose “Texas hold ’em” he “suggested”), passing through Asake and Travis Scott (“Active”), Leon Bridges (“Peaceful place”), Shaboozey (“A bar song”), up to Billie Eilish (“Lunch”), Karol G (“Si antes te hubiera conocido”) and Fontaines DC (“Favourite”), always most launched as rock band protagonists of the new scene (they will return to Italy next summer for three highly anticipated dates: on June 17th they will be at the Squoie Music Park in Bologna, on June 18th at Rock in Roma in Rome and on June 19th at Carroponte in Sesto San Giovanni in Milan).

“Here are my favorite songs from this year! Listen to them if you want to shake up your playlist and let me know if there is a song or artist that I should absolutely listen to”, wrote the former US president to his followers.
